The purpose of the Marriage and Family Life Commission is to affirm and support the Sacrament of Marriage and family relationships. Among its activities are annual Masses to celebrate Marriage, and the Role of Grandparents, ensuring that every engaged couple has access to a marriage preparation course and encouraging programmes to enable positive parenting. It also organises regular Healing Masses for families that are affected by mental health issues and provides days of recollection for those that are separated or divorced.
