Marriage and Family Life ministry in the Archdiocese of Liverpool aims to encourage families to grow in the awareness and understanding that God is present in the everyday events of marriage and family life. Maureen lives in the parish of Holy Rosary, in Aintree and has three grown up children. Maureen is the newest member to the Pastoral Formation Department. She began work as the assistant coordinator for adult faith formation with special responsibility for marriage and family life ministry in September 2009. Maureen brings to this role her own experience as a single mum for twenty two years and adds: ‘so I can certainly relate to the many joys and sorrows that family life can bring.’ Maureen has worked in an array of roles throughout her career, majority of which have been customer focussed. Again this background is a great advantage to the new role which Maureen has begun in Marriage and Family Life Ministry.
