Birmingham’s Newman University will host a day exploring theology, stories about families and shared reflection, as part of the Church’s preparation for the Synod, from 10am to 4pm on Saturday 13th June 2015. Hear our Voices: Family, Theology and the Synod will be led by Professor Thomas Knieps Port Le Roi, Associate Professor for INTAMS Chair for the Study of Marriage & Spirituality, Dr. Patricia Kieran of the University of Limerick and Elizabeth Davies, Marriage and Family Life Project Officer at CBCEW. The day will conclude with a panel of key speakers, chaired by Fr. Eddie Clare, Director of the Maryvale Institute and including David McLoughlin, Senior Lecturer in Theology at Newman University.
